Partially due to my offline schedule getting a little tighter and mostly because of some hardware issues, I wasn't able to put together any new images last month. So, after getting fed up with the persistent jankiness of BDSMLR and ending up only sharing my last few projects in a couple of places on Discord, I've realized that I'm kind of exhausted with uploading everything I post to multiple platforms, to be met with only marginal interest across all of them. I'm not going to lie, I've been a bit disillusioned with the so-called bondage faking community for a while now. Over the last few years the focus of what most people create and consume has shifted overwhelmingly toward content that isn't so much 'bondage fakes' as 'tape on mouth fakes.' The number of artists that pay any mind to creative photo compositing or things like narrative and atmosphere is smaller than ever, and the people churning out scores of celebrity glamour shots/social media posts/screencaptures with a gag PNG added and no further alterations tend to get the lion's share of attention from the community at any rate. I never could have foreseen the immense outpouring of support from the community after I stormed off weeks ago. Nor could I have anticipated the almost immediate emergence of a new platform in the wake of tumblr's bullshit. But both of those things happened. So I guess I don't quit after all.
